On The day, Air Chief Marshall Sir Donald Hardman presented the standard to Number 19 Sqn. The CO of No. 19 Squadron, Squadron Leader D. J. Fowler asked Sir David to accept a momentum of the occasion in the form of a squadron badge. The badge, he said, embodied a dolphin, which was a link with the dolphin air craft that Sir Donald flew 38 years before.
The Squadron standard was consecrated by Canon A. S. Giles and was presented by the A.V.M.
