YUAS is one of 15 University Air Squadrons around the country that offer undergraduates flying training and a chance to experience RAF life. Naturally, the hope is that many UAS members will go on to gain commissions as officers in the RAF, either as pilots, navigators, or in one of the many ground branches, but UAS membership carries with it no commitment, beyond time and effort from members. |
| This web-site provides information about YUAS, its membership, what it offers to Yorkshire’s undergraduates, and what is going on within the squadron. If you want to know more about the UAS system in general or any other aspects of RAF recruiting or training, try a visit to the web-site of the RAF College Cranwell. |
